MEDICARE

In order to provide physical therapy the way you deserve;

including one-to-one care
individualized plans that fit your schedule
and a clear understanding of how to get better faster

we are out-of-network with all insurance providers.

On the Move Physical Therapy and Wellness LLC is NOT a participating provider with Medicare. This means that we have no relationship with Medicare and are unable to send in a bill to Medicare for reimbursement.

We only accept Medicare beneficiaries who;

  • are adamant about receiving care at our facility,
  • request of their own free will and personally ask to pay up front,
  • and do not want to bill Medicare at any time for their physical therapy care (this includes Medicare as secondary insurance).

If a Medicare beneficiary would like to use their Medicare benefits, we will happily connect you with a different physical therapy clinic that bills Medicare.

If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, or BCBS Federal plan the rules vary by plan. The only way to know is to call your plan directly.

DO YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS?

WE’RE HERE TO HELP

On the Move Physical Therapy and Wellness LLC can help Medicare beneficiaries outside of traditional physical therapy. We are able to provide services not covered by Medicare, including injury prevention, wellness, and fitness guidance.

In 2014, a study by the Center for Disease Control showed that

one in four older adults reported a fall.

The CDC goes on to suggest four ways to take action;

Talk openly about fall risks and prevention
Keep moving; Do activities that strengthen your legs and help your balance
Have your vision checked once a year
Make your home safe

Maintaining Strength and Balance

Each 6 week session meets in a group environment two times a week for a 45 minute class. Classes are limited to 10 people and will include handouts and information to decrease risk of falls.

Before and after each 6 week session, a physical therapist will perform a fall screen on each participant. The written screen results can be taken home, to use as a reference in future sessions or medical care.
